History

The Beginning - 1989

It all began in 1989, when our chairman Sheikh Faisal Bin Abdulla Al Mualla decided to take a plunge into the business Arena. Rather than getting into conventional business lines, he established Umm Al Quwain Computer forms, the largest computer form manufacturing unit in the Middle East at that time. He always followed his passion and instincts, entered into diversified business lines meeting the needs of the market and contributing to the regional development.

In our journey of over 25 years, Al-Faisal Group of Companies has carved a niche for itself by bringing innovation into the local market to meet its volatile demands. The group had vertical and horizontal growth, while diversifying into new business lines like Construction, Hospitality, Interior design and Furniture Manufacturing etc., we also invested in the advanced technology and latest machinery in the existing businesses to meet the market demands and  be modernized.  

EARLY YEARS (1989 – 1990)

- UAQ Forms

Business thrived and flourished.  “UAQ Forms” established themselves as the leading Computer Form Manufacturers in the Middle East, exporting to every country in the MENA Region. During this period they diversified into Commercial offset & packaging.

- Umm Al Quwain Poultry Farm

Considering the growing demand of poultry in the emirates, “Umm Al Quwain Poultry Farm” was established in June 1992, converting the ‘till then’ hobby of our Chairman in agriculture and animal husbandry into a commercial venture.

DIVERSIFICATION (2000 – 2004)

- Hotel Royal Residence & Abu Shakra Al Neel Restaurant

Early 2000 saw an exponential growth in UAE Tourism industry and the Group entered into a hospitality industry and launched Hotel Royal Residence, the most sought after holiday home in Umm Al Quwain. Abu Shakra Al Neel Restaurant the 1^st fine dine multi-cuisine restaurant was also opened simultaneously the same year.  

- Al Neefa Contracting Company LLC

Currently the flagship company was established in 2003. Al Neefa, specialized in multistoried  towers and large projects, renowned for their quality and timely completion,   is the most trusted construction contracting company in the region

- Al Ahlyia Real Estate

November 2004 was the time when the Group decided to enter into Real Estate business and opened a company called “Al Ahlyia Real Estate” in Umm Al Quwain

GROWTH MOMENTUM (2007 – 2013)

- Royal Residence Resort

The growing demands of Hotels in the region forced the group to expand further and opened another hotel “Royal Residence Resort” in January 2007.

- Dimensions Decoration & Furniture

Launched in November 2007 added new dimensions to the Interior Design and furniture industry in the region. “Dimensions”, epitomized as the premium brand of furniture and interiors has who’s who of the region as their clients. They have added the royal touch to many a mansions.

- Dimensions Decoration and Furniture (Branch)

Considering the growing demands of our customers we opened another Branch of “Dimensions Decoration and Furniture” in Ras Al Khaimah in 2013.

- Qatar Al Nada Agriculture Products trading

·         August 2013, The Group had formed a company called “Qatar Al Nada Agriculture Products trading” to handle the growing demand of agricultural items in the market.

RECENT PAST DEVELOPMENTS (2014 – 2016)

The beginning of 2014, the management decided to shift gears to high-speed and consistent expansion drive across the board.

- Sikkat Beirut Restaurant and Cafe

Hospitality division is undergoing major revamp, renovating and enhancing all the properties to provide the best experience for our guests.  Abu Shakra Restaurant has being completely renovated and being re-launched as “Sikkat Beirut Restaurant and Cafe”, a premium Fine dine restaurant.  The new modernized kitchen block can cater to wide spread cuisine and large outdoor catering orders.

- Dimensions Joinery & Woodcraft factory

A new state of the art Joinery & Woodcraft factory was set-up under Dimensions brand in 2014. The factory is now undertaking major projects in Doors & Frames, Wardrobes, Kitchen Cabinets and manufacturing of indigenously designed furniture and Interior Fit outs.

- Dimensions Aluminum

Launched in 2015 is specialized in Aluminum and glassing facades. We have successfully completed 4 major projects by June 2016 and bagged another 6Multi storied building projects to be completed this year.
